Regarding use of peanut butter in products manufactured by Bedré Fine Chocolate:Bedre Fine Chocolate uses peanut butter in the production of the products listed below:
Bedre Fine Chocolate's Quality Assurance Department has been in touch with our suppliers of peanuts and peanut butter. Assurances have been received that none of the materials supplied to Bedre for use in our products are impacted by the recall and all are safe for human consumption. According to information published by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), products produced at "Peanut Corporation of America" (PCA), in Blakely, Georgia have tested positive for contamination. FDA further reports that recently a Plainview, Texas plant, Plainview Peanut Company, a subsidiary of PCA, has shown likely contamination at that location. Bedre Fine Chocolate does not source any material from either Peanut Corporation of America or Plainview Peanut Company. Rest assured that Bedre Fine Chocolate will continue to monitor this situation.
